Medical Camp at Lakshmanapuri Slum

On the 2nd of March 2010, about 174 people of Lakshmanapuri slum in Bangalore were provided free medical check up. BOSCO, in collaboration with St. Martha`s Hospital and the students of Christ College, conducted this programme.

The Medical Camp was inaugurated in the presence of representatives from the collaborating organisations. The needy people of the slum area were the focus of this medical camp. The names of the beneficiaries for the programme were registered before they proceeded for the check up. The BOSCO Staff of the Railway Station area along with the doctors and nurses from St. Martha`s rendered their self less services for the success of the programme. Congratulations to BOSCO, the management of St. Martha`s Hospital and the students of Christ College for their efforts and hard work in reaching out to the people of Lakshmanapuri slum.
